Embryogenesis

Embryogenesis

A sequence of images within an egg-shaped object allows us to see a tiny organism in its earliest developmental stages. The different stages are never fully seen, always being obscured by the visible bounds of the embryo's shape and size. We can just make out what looks like a double helix, but it seems to be situated in a metallic, inorganic environment. Processes of insertion, feeding and splitting are occurring.
